III-V compound semiconductor nanowires have drawn much attention as nanoscale building blocks for optoelectronic/photonic integration owing to their nanoscale size, excellent optical and electrical properties, and strain relaxation ability for lattice-mismatched systems enabling epitaxial growth of a wide range of high-quality materials and structures. In particular, highly uniform, ordered, vertical nanowire arrays exhibit strong geometry related light matter interaction properties, offering unique flexibility for the design of a variety of geometry-tunable high performance and multifunctional light emission and detection devices. In this work, I will present our recent work on design, growth and fabrication of III-V semiconductor nanowire array-based materials (such as InP), structures (such as InGaAs/InP quantum wells) and devices (including LEDs, lasers, photodetector, and gas sensors), for the development of next generation highly integrated photonic/optoelectronic systems.

傅岚教授任职于澳大利亚国立大学物理研究学院,担任电子材料工程系主任职务。主要研究领域包括设计、制造和集成光电器件(LED、激光器、光电探测器和太阳能电池)和化学传感器,基于低维III-V化合物半导体结构,包括量子阱、自组装量子点和金属有机化学气相沉积(MOCVD)生长的纳米线。傅岚教授曾获IEEE光子学会研究生奖学金和杰出讲师奖、澳大利亚研究理事会博士后奖学金、ARF/QEII奖学金和Future奖学金。现任IEEE纳米技术委员会分会和区域活动委员会主席,IEEE Photonics Journal, Beilstein Journal of Nanotechnology副主编,以及Opto-Electronic Advances和npj Nanophotonics编辑委员会成员。现任澳大利亚科学院国家材料科学与工程委员会的现任副主席,以及澳大利亚材料研究协会(AMRS)的副主席。于2023年被CosmosMagzine评为 “澳大利亚50位前沿科学女性”之一。
